Today I prepped a good amount of produce that I had bought from the Pleasanton Farmers market. A flat of fresh strawberries, asparagus, brussell sprouts (roast them in olive oil, celtic grey sea salt and pepper and I promise you'll like them), fresh tarragon, oregano and mint. The intense smell from the herbs reminded me of how good fresh food smells and tastes. Yes it takes work to prep them and cook them, but the end pay off is always huge. A healthy future and great tasting meals always outways fast food/restaurant food and a lifetime of medications that can be prevented by eating good food.
